Lara and Valkyrie - on the hunt

Lara was much less twitchy, this time around at the Inn. Kitty was here, of course, but it was easier to deal with people in general, even if she’d found herself falling into the habit, a bit, of keeping to herself. Even calmer, though, she sometimes needed to get out with her bow and shoot something.

Today, she hunted rabbits in the wooded parts of the mountain foothills. They were small enough and quick enough to be a challenge, and she could carry them back to the Inn kitchens in a knapsack. It felt less wasteful than hunting deer.

Either way, she might have gone a little overboard, having climbed a tree and gone branch to branch above ground to deal death from above to small furry creatures. (It was fun though!)
